R. Rijesh is Assistant Professor at the Institute for Studies in Industrial Development (ISID), New Delhi, India. He obtained his Master’s degree in Economics from Dr John Matthai Centre (JMC), University of Calicut; his MPhil in Applied Economics from the Centre for Development Studies (CDS), Jawaharlal Nehru University and his Ph.D. in Economics from the Centre for International Trade & Development (CITD), Jawaharlal Nehru University. Before joining ISID, he has worked as Research Associate and Research Fellow at the Indian Institute for Foreign Trade (IIFT), Research Intern at the Consortium for Trade and Development (CENTAD) and Guest Lecturer at the Govt. College Kodenchery, University of Calicut. His areas of specialisation are international trade, economics of technology and industry.
