Recruitment of Research Associates/Assistants

The Institute for Studies in Industrial Development (ISID) is a national level policy research institution under the framework of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Applications are invited for the post of Research Associates/Assistants on contract for an ICSSR funded research project broadly focusing on issues of green industrialization and innovation in manufacturing sector of India.

The candidates should possess at least a Master’s degree (with minimum 55% marks) in social science, preferably in Economics. Those who are having NET/SLET and pursuing MPhil and PhD in social science, preferably in Economics, and who have experience of working on company level data from MCA and CMIE-ProwessIQ will be given preference.

It is essential that candidates are familiar with statistical packages such as Stata for analysis of data and are willing to conduct primary survey whenever needed.

Remuneration will be as per current ICSSR guidelines for recruitment of project staff for Major and Minor projects i.e. Rs. 47,000 p.m. for Research Associate and Rs. 37,000 p.m. for Research Assistant. The selection shall be based on qualification and experience. The appointment is on a full-time basis and for a period of one year.
