  1. ISID Ph.D. Programme is duly recognised by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.
  2. ISID faculty members are recognized by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi to supervise research in the areas of Economics, with focus on the following themes:

  5. List of documents required to be submitted

    o Matriculation/10th certificate & marksheet (self-attested copy)
    o Higher Secondary/12th certificate & marksheet (self-attested copy)
    o Bachelor’s Degree Certificate & marksheet (self-attested copy)
    o Master’s Degree certificate & marksheet (self-attested copy)
    o UGC-NET Certificate/letter from UGC/NTA (self-attested copy)
    o Certificate to claim reservation (if applicable)
    o Research proposal (about 1,200 words)
    o Fellowship letter/supporting document (if applicable)
    o No Objection Certificate from the present employer (if applicable)

  6. Admission to PhD Programme (2026-27) will be done on the basis of UGC-NET examination score, as per the UGC rule. The NET scores of June 2026, December 2025, June 2025 will be valid/used for PhD admission for the academic year 2026-27. There is no change in the validity period of JRFs and it will continue as before.
