Sanjaya Kumar Malik is Assistant Professor at the Institute for Studies in Industrial Development (ISID), New Delhi. He has a Doctoral Degree in Economics from Centre for Development Studies (CDS), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala (Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi). His doctoral work examines the processes of generation of innovations in India’s textile machinery industry. His MPhil work analyses the technology spillovers from Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Indian manufacturing industries. His research interest comprises innovation and technological change, FDI, and labour economics.
