KIET-ISID Industrial Forum on Korea–India Industrial Collaboration: Driving Shared Growth and Future Prosperity
ISID and the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade (KIET) as a part of their ongoing collaboration, organised the 3rd KIET–ISID Industrial Forum, titled “Korea–India Industrial Collaboration: Driving Shared Growth and Future Prosperity,” on December 10, 2025, in Seoul. The ISID delegation led by Prof Nagesh Kumar, Director ISID included Dr Reji Joseph, Associate Professor, ISID, Dr Beena Saraswathy, Assistant Professor, ISID, and Dr Ramaa Arun Kumar, Assistant Professor, ISID. The opening ceremony of the forum featured inaugural addresses by H.E. Gourangalal Das, Ambassador of India to the Republic of Korea, and H.E. Seong-ho Lee, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India. Dr Namhoon Kwon, President, KIET, gave the welcome remarks. Prof Nagesh Kumar, Director ISID, delivered the opening remarks. The forum included three technical sessions covering presentation of nine papers delving on the current status and future prospects of the Korea–India economic partnership, labour-intensive industries and digital innovation, and opportunities for industrial collaboration in strategic sectors. The forum also included an industry visit to Hyundai Steel in Dangjin on December 8, 2025.
