ISID Foundation Day Lecture 2025

| Dr Cristiano Pasini, UNIDO Representative and Director of the Regional Office in India covering Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, delivered the Keynote Lecture at the ISID Foundation Day Event on “Making Industrial Policy Work for SDGs” held on May 1, 2025. Speaking on the importance of aligning industrial strategies with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Dr Pasini emphasised the role of inclusive and sustainable industrial development in accelerating progress towards achieving the SDGs. The session was moderated by Prof Nagesh Kumar, Director, ISID. It brought together key stakeholders to reflect on how industrial policy can be effectively designed and implemented to support long-term economic, social, and environmental sustainability. |
