DSE-RIS-ISID Felicitation Ceremony to Honour Padma Awardees from DSE Fraternity

| The Delhi School of Economics (DSE), in collaboration with the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) and the ISID, organised a felicitation ceremony on May 28, 2025, to honour the 2025 Padma Awardees from the DSE fraternity. Held at Swami Vivekananda Hall, Delhi School of Economics, the event celebrated the remarkable contributions of Prof KL Krishna, former Director, DSE, and mentor to RIS and ISID; Shri (Late) Bibek Debroy, former Chairman of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister and a DSE alumnus; and, Prof VR Panchamukhi, Founding Director General of RIS and a DSE alumnus. Prof Nagesh Kumar felicitated Prof Krishna and read out a citation on his work. The ceremony acknowledged their lifelong dedication to academia, public service, and policy research, and was attended by colleagues, students, and dignitaries from the academic and policy communities. |
