Resident Visiting Fellowships
Resident Visiting (Senior) Fellowships
ISID is India’s premier research institution, fostering industrial transformation to help support the emergence of the nation as a developed economy through its policy research, advocacy, capacity-building, and outreach activities. Operating from its sprawling campus in Vasant Kunj Institutional Area in South Delhi, the Institute is supported by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) through its grants-in-aid. ISID also conducts a PhD Programme on Economics and Public Policy in affiliation with the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
To facilitate academic networking and provide academics and researchers an opportunity to develop collaborative links with members of its faculty, and exchange of expertise, ISID announces this call for Resident Senior Fellows and Fellows.
Selected Fellows and Senior Fellows will be invited to visit the Institute for a period normally ranging between one and eight weeks. During the period of their attachment with ISID, the Fellows will engage in discussions with the in-house and visiting faculty members and PhD students, among other stakeholders, conduct field-work and consultations with industry, deliver seminars and lectures, and contribute to the Institute’s working papers and policy briefs series.
ISID will provide an office and other research facilities, and accommodate the Fellows at the Institute’s guest house during their period of residency.
Senior and mid-career researchers from academic institutions, within and outside the country, working on themes related to industrial development, defined broadly, including those wishing to spend a sabbatical, are invited to apply.
The Fellowships are open throughout the year. Interested candidates should send their cv, a statement of purpose and outputs to be achieved during the attachment with ISID, duration and preferred timing to the director@isid.org.in
