The Institute for Studies in Industrial Development (ISID), New Delhi, is organising a Ten-day Training Programme on Research Methodology in Social Sciences for young (MPhil/PhD/Post-doctoral) research scholars of Indian Universities/colleges/academic institutions from August 2-12, 2022. The Programme is sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. The objective of the programme is to provide in-depth treatment of various aspects of research methodologies including quantitative and qualitative methods, large survey data analysis and interpretation, design of questionnaire, empirical estimation techniques using relevant statistical software, discuss techniques of dissemination, proposal and report writing. This aims to improve skills and the ability of the participants to undertake research around the emerging perspectives in social science research with a special focus on industrialization and development.
It will consist of interactive sessions, including lectures by eminent academicians and hands-on exercises with datasets using various techniques. The programme will be conducted through ONLINE mode and necessary materials/e-resources will be provided.
