The Institute in collaboration with the Centre for Development Studies (CDS), Thiruvananthapuram, and the Cambridge University Press (CUP) organised a policy roundtable to launch the book Industrialisation for Employment and Growth in India: Lessons from Small Firms Clusters and Beyond, published by the Cambridge University Press, on January 28, 2022. The Roundtable was moderated by Prof Nagesh Kumar, Director, ISID. After the initial remarks by Prof Sunil Mani, Director, CDS, the highlights of the book were shared by Prof R Nagaraj, the editor of the volume. The esteemed panellists in the discussion were Mr. Srinivasan Iyer, Senior Programme Officer, Ford Foundation; Prof Padmini Swaminathan, former Director Madras Institute of Development Studies; Prof Vikas Rawal, Professor, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU); Dr. Partha Mukhopadhyay, Senior Fellow, Centre for Policy Research; and, Ms Anwesha Rana, Commissioning Editor, Cambridge University Press.
