Recruitment of Research Associates/Assistants
The Institute for Studies in Industrial Development (ISID) is a premier national institution focused on supporting India’s industrial transformation through policy research, advocacy, and capacity-building activities. Supported by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Government of India, ISID operates from its campus located in the Vasant Kunj Institutional Area in South Delhi. ISID seeks applications from qualified individuals for the positions of Research Assistants/ Associates to support for different research projects broadly focusing on issues of industrial development, trade and FDI, technology & innovation, green industrialization, startups and MSME.
Applications are invited for Research Associates/Assistants on contract for ICSSR funded research projects broadly focusing on issues industrial development, trade, technology & innovations, green industrialization, startups and MSMEs.
The candidates should possess at least Master’s degree (with minimum 55% marks) in social sciences, preferably in Economics. Those having NET/SLET and pursuing M.Phil. and Ph.D., familiarity with statistical packages such as Stata, exposure to unit-level data sources such as NSSO, Annual Survey of Industries (ASI) and CMIE-ProwessIQ, or with experience of conducting primary surveys, would have an advantage.
Salary as per ICSSR norms and will be around ₹20,000 per month, depending upon qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made initially for a period of upto one year with possibilities of extension.
