The Institute for Studies in Industrial Development (ISID) is a premier social science research institution supported by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). It places a high priority on policy-oriented research at the national level and in the area of industrial development. ISID wishes to recruit Faculty at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. All the positions carry revised pay as per the UGC pay scales and other benefits which include: contributory provident fund, gratuity, medical insurance coverage & additional medical reimbursement, LTC, leave encashment, etc.
Prospective candidates for the posts of Professor and Associate Professor should have a doctoral degree in Economics and refereed published research work of high quality and research and/or teaching experience of at least ten and five years, respectively. The minimum prescribed qualification for Assistant Professor is doctoral degree in Economics/Commerce/ MBA/Statistics. Those who have submitted thesis can also apply. Candidates should have proven aptitude and inclination for undertaking empirical research independently, in various aspects of industrial development including, but not limited to, corporate sector and governance, foreign investments, international trade, technology, SMEs, industrial structure & location, regional development, entrepreneurship, competition law, industrial regulations and labour & employment.
