| Dr Jaya Prakash Pradhan (PhD) is an Assistant Professor in the Institute. Prior to this, he has worked as a Faculty in Gujarat Institute of Development Research and served as a consultant to the Research and Information System for the Non-Aligned and Other Developing Countries, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. He has a number of publications in various national and international economic journals and has authored, co-authored and co-edited respectively, Indian Multinationals in the World Economy (Bookwell Publisher, New Delhi, 2008), Transnationalization of Indian Pharmaceutical SMEs (Bookwell Publisher, New Delhi, 2008) and Industrialization, Economic Reforms and Regional Development (Shipra Publisher, New Delhi, 2005). His research interests include the developmental impact of foreign direct investment and transnational production, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, international trade, technology, Indian pharmaceutical industry and human development. He is a founding member of the Koshala Development Forum (KDF), New Delhi for undertaking research activities on the issues of under-development and deprivations in the Koshala region of India. He is also a poet and has published over 34 poems in various Oriya literary magazines and newspapers.
